Adam's Pro Shopping Tip

Before buying anything over $50, always check prices across at least 2–3 stores. The same product can vary by 20–40% between retailers, and most stores offer price matching. Use my Shop Links page to jump between stores fast.

Affiliate Links & Money Stuff
Do you earn money from the links on this site?
+
Yes, and I'm not going to be weird about it β€” that's how this works. When you click a link on Adam's Angle and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission. It costs you absolutely nothing extra. The price is identical whether you use my link or go directly to the store. These commissions are what keep the site running and the reviews coming. I appreciate every single click. Full details are on the Terms page.
Does using your links cost me anything extra?
+
Zero. Nothing. Nada. The price you see on Amazon, Target, Walmart, or anywhere else is exactly the same whether you arrive via my link or type the URL yourself. The commission I earn comes from the retailer's marketing budget, not from your pocket. In fact, I sometimes share exclusive discount codes that can actually save you money.
Do commissions influence which products you recommend?
+
No β€” and this is something I take seriously. My recommendations are based on research, testing, and genuine value for money. I never recommend something just because it pays a higher commission. Some of my top picks have very low commission rates. My credibility is worth more to me than any short-term payout. If a product isn't worth buying, I'll say so β€” and I'll tell you exactly why.
Which stores do you have affiliate partnerships with?
+
Currently: Amazon (Associates Program), Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe's, Wayfair, Chewy, Sephora, Nike, and IKEA. I'm always adding more. You can find all current store links on the Shop Links page. If there's a store you want me to add, drop me a message below.
Why do some links go to Amazon even for products sold elsewhere?
+
Amazon has the widest availability and fastest shipping, which is why it's often my default. But I always try to include multiple store links when a product is available elsewhere β€” especially when another store has a better price. Always check the Shop Links page to compare before buying.

Reviews & Recommendations
Are your reviews actually honest?
+
100%. I don't accept payment for positive reviews. Every review on Adam's Angle is my genuine opinion based on real-world use and research. I share the pros AND the cons β€” if something isn't worth buying, I'll tell you straight. Some products are provided by brands for review, but that never influences my verdict. I'll always disclose when that's the case. My whole thing is being the friend who tells you the truth, not the salesperson who tells you what you want to hear.
Can I request a specific product to be reviewed?
+
Absolutely β€” use the form at the bottom of this page. Tell me the product name, where it's sold, and why you're on the fence about it. I read every submission and use them to guide what I review next. Popular requests get bumped up the queue. No guarantees on timing, but I genuinely appreciate the input.
How do you score products?
+
I rate products out of 10 across multiple categories relevant to that product type. The overall score is a weighted average with the most important factors carrying more weight. My scale: 9+ means buy it without hesitation. 8–8.9 is highly recommended with minor caveats. 7–7.9 is good but has real trade-offs. Below 7 means I have significant reservations and I'll tell you exactly what they are.
How often do you update your recommendations?
+
I review and update recommendations regularly β€” monthly for popular categories, quarterly for others. When a new version of a product launches, I update the review. I also monitor price changes. If you spot something that looks outdated, drop me a message and I'll fix it fast.
Do you personally test every product?
+
For full in-depth reviews, yes β€” I either buy the product myself or receive a review unit (which I always disclose). For product listings without a full review, I rely on extensive research including verified customer reviews, expert opinions, and my own category knowledge. I'm always clear about the difference between "I tested this" and "I researched this."

Shopping Tips from Adam
Why are prices different from what I see at the store?
+
Prices change constantly β€” sometimes multiple times per day. The prices I show are for reference only and reflect what the product was priced when I last updated that listing. Always click through to the actual store to see the current price before buying. Prices are often lower than what I show, especially during sales events. Use my links as a starting point, then compare across stores.
Which store has the best prices overall?
+
Honest answer: it depends on the category. Amazon wins on electronics, books, and everyday items β€” especially with Prime. Walmart has the lowest prices on groceries and household essentials. Target is best for home dΓ©cor, clothing, and beauty. Best Buy is the go-to for major electronics where you want expert advice. Home Depot and Lowe's are neck-and-neck on tools. My rule: always check 2–3 stores before buying anything over $50.
What's the best time of year to buy electronics?
+
Black Friday / Cyber Monday (late November) β€” biggest deals of the year. Amazon Prime Day (July) β€” great for Prime members. Back-to-School (July–August) β€” laptops, tablets, headphones. End of model year when new models launch β€” previous gen drops hard. For TVs specifically, Super Bowl season (January–February) sees major cuts. My tip: set a price alert and wait for your target price rather than buying at full retail.
How do I know if a deal is actually good?
+
Not all "deals" are real. Some retailers inflate the original price to make the discount look bigger. My tips: check price history with CamelCamelCamel (for Amazon) or Google Shopping. Compare across multiple stores using my Shop Links page. Check the review count and rating β€” a heavily discounted product with poor reviews isn't a deal. If it's a genuine limited-time deal, it'll still be there in a few days. If it's gone, it'll come back.
Is it safe to buy from third-party sellers on Amazon?
+
Generally yes, with precautions. Look for sellers with 95%+ ratings and lots of reviews. Check if the item is "Fulfilled by Amazon" (FBA) β€” easier returns, more reliable delivery. Avoid sellers with very few reviews or suspiciously low prices on high-value items. For electronics and big purchases, buy directly from the brand's official Amazon store or from Amazon itself.

About Adam & This Site
Who is Adam and why should I trust you?
+
I'm just a person who got tired of fake reviews and paid-for opinions. I started Adam's Angle because I wanted a place where the recommendations were actually honest β€” where someone would tell you a product sucks if it sucks, and tell you it's great if it's great. I'm not affiliated with any retailer or brand. I'm not trying to protect relationships. I'm trying to help you not waste money. That's the whole angle.
How can I contact Adam?
+
Best way is the form at the bottom of this page β€” I read everything and typically respond within 1–3 business days. I'm also active on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, BlueSky, YouTube, and TikTok (links in the footer). For business inquiries, use the form and select "Business Inquiry" as the subject.
Why is there an 18+ age requirement?
+
Some products I recommend may be intended for mature audiences only. Rather than restrict individual product pages, I've applied a site-wide age gate so everything is covered. By confirming you're 18+, you're acknowledging that some content and products on this site may not be appropriate for minors. Full details are in the Terms & Conditions.
Do you have a newsletter?
+
Yes β€” a weekly email with my top picks, new reviews, and the best deals I've found. Free, no spam, unsubscribe anytime. Sign up on the homepage. I also send occasional deal alerts for truly exceptional limited-time offers. Typically one email per week max.
Can a brand submit a product for review?
+
Yes, but understand this: receiving a product for review does not guarantee a positive review. I will always share my honest opinion and clearly disclose that the product was provided. If you're interested, use the form below and select "Brand/Manufacturer Inquiry." Include product info and why you think my audience would care. I'll get back to you within 5–7 business days.
